Chief Jack has returned to the airwaves as of October 15, 2007. It may seem like it was planned, but it's strictly a coincidence that the rebirth of his Internet station and the signature show, the Mohawk Radio Show, come almost exactly nine months after he went off the air in January.

"The death of my show," The Chief claims, "has been rumored several times in the past, but they've never been able to put me down permanently. This was the most extended off air case in our history, but I just had to show that I could return and survive."

2007 marks the beginning of Chief Jack's 39th fiscal year on the air. Mohawk Radio first went on the air in 1969 under the banner "Jack On The Radio" and slogan "Jack On The Radio Means More Variety". If that sounds familiar, you're right. At the start of the 21st century, a slew of radio stations in the U.S. and Canada "borrowed" this slogan and began a "new format" (invented by The Chief in 1969) called Jack FM.

When he attempted to break into "big time" radio, Chief Jack asked to keep his format for his show, but radio execs told him the format would never work in a hundred years, and refused to hire him when he stuck to his guns. Over thirty years later they welcomed the JACK format with open arms as radio's salvation.

Of course, the JACK format didn't work everywhere. In New York City, oldies powerhouse WCBS-FM was switched to the JACK style, but met so much opposition from the fans that it was forced to dump JACK and return to oldies in order to survive.

Music plays 24/7, with Chief Jack going live for Mohawk Radio every Monday and Wednesday at 8:30 PM Pacific, 10:30 Central, and 11:30 Eastern time. CHIEF JACK RUNS FOR PRESIDENT AGAIN!

Chief Jack, long-time personality on terrestrial and Internet radio, is making his third run at the United States Presidency in 2008. He is bolstered by his ever-increasing support over the two previous races, and the fact that his Native American Party gained enough notice to have his presence requested at several political rallies in 2004.

The Chief, as he is affectionately known, threw his hat in the ring late in the 2000 race as a joke. He received a large amount of write-in votes, most of them in Florida, votes that he maintains were "hijacked" by the Bush team, which is what caused the "recount debacle" in that state and resulted in Bush being handed the Presidency by the court, an election he did not win.

In 2004, Chief Jack was serious about defeating Bush because of the President's criminal actions, which included starting two wars in violation of international law. Part of The Chief's campaign called for Bush being brought to the World Court to stand trial for his crimes against humanity, a move which so scared Mr. Bush that he had Chief Jack's name stricken from the ballot and he was denied participation in the Presidential debates.

Bush's actions greatly hurt The Chief's numbers, and he says he received reports that a large number of voters were warned against voting for Chief Jack. In spite of this, over 36,000 voters exercised their right to get a written ballot and voted Chief Jack For President.

In the 2004 campaign, Chief Jack received tons of E-mail from children and young people not yet of voting age because he was the only candidate who answered all their questions, as opposed to the "major" party figures who largely ignored questions from non-voting age people. The Chief stated after the 2004 election, "If ten-to-seventeen year olds could have voted, I would have won by a landslide".

Some of Chief Jack's platform points include restructuring tax laws so that the rich pay their fair share, outlawing labor unions, controlling prices and wages, and making the learning of English mandatory for immigrants.
